Dermal Fillers |
 |
If you are looking to enhance your looks with a completely natural substance which achieves a visible, long-lasting
aesthetic result, then our products are made for you.
Whether you're looking for defined facial contours, fuller lips, or smoothened facial lines, these treatments let you
bring out the best in yourself - naturally and instantly.
The crystal gel dermal fillers are made from a natural substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). HA occurs naturally in
our bodies and attracts water to hydrate the cells and fibres in our skin.
As we age the natural HA in our skin depletes and as a result the skin loses its tight,
firm and youthful appearance, becoming damaged and losing its natural elasticity.
This can cause your face to look thin and narrow, making you look
older than you are.
With the combination of the ageing process and environmental and lifestyle factors our skin and the
surrounding structures lose their natural plumpness and form.
These products have been used safely in over 2 million treatments, in more than 70 countries worldwide. They are the
Number 1 dermal fillers used with an excellent proven safety track record.
They add volume to your skin and still leave your face with a natural expression. It is non-permanent and is absorbed
naturally over time.
This means that you can choose when to have further treatment to maintain the effect.
General Procedure
In a simple procedure that will take approximately 30-45 minutes the selected product is injected with a fine needle
into the area. Depending on the area being treated, either a topical or injectable form of local anaesthetic will be
used to minimise any discomfort, which is generally mild and transient.
Recovery Process
Results are immediate.
As with all injectable treatments, there may be some localised bruising and swelling. These
side effects are temporary and usually disappear after 48 hours.
Although you can return to work immediately following the procedure, for a first visit it is better to schedule an
appointment for the end of the day and preferably the end of the week. Due to the swelling that may occur, your family or friends may notice immediately afterwards particularly if the lip
area has been treated.
However, it is common for people to not realise exactly what has changed, rather they recognise
a subtle difference, which may be expressed as "looking well".
How long does it last?
Three grades of dermal fillers are available and they can last from 6-18months.
The injected gel is gradually broken down and absorbed by the body, just like the body's own natural HA. Most people
would require a top-up every 9-12 months.
Whilst not being permanent, temporary dermal fillers have the advantage of providing long lasting results with
flexibility and control, given that our face changes shape with age and beauty trends will come and go.
