Med Contour is the new revolution in Body
Contouring and Cellulite Treatment.
This ground breaking treatment is only available in
North Queensland at The Jade Cosmetic Clinic.
WHAT IS MED
CONTOUR
Med Contour is an innovative cavitational system for the
treatment of localised fat and deep cellulite. Med
Contour uses the combined action of two low-frequency
ultrasounds concentrated exclusively onto the area being
treated. This advanced technique, thanks to vacuum
technology, raises the adipose tissue so that the deep
penetrating action of the ultrasounds is concentrated
onto the affected tissue only, offering a treatment that
is both highly effective and entirely safe. Med Contour
is the very first system with an integrated lymph-drainage
handpiece, offering a complete, risk-free treatment. A
complete and innovative machine, with a surprising
effect. The results are a shaped, tight and slim body.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE
FAT
During your Med
Contour treatment, the fat cells are removed by
cavitation. The excess fat is transported through the
vascular and lymphatic system to the liver. The liver
does not differentiate between the fat that is fed by
this method, and the fat from ingested food. Both are
processed by the natural metabolic processes of the
body.
IS MED CONTOUR SAFE
The device
operates at the worldwide safest standard of low
frequency as used in physiotherapy. The advanced design
modulates this energy to make it one of the very few
ultrasound devices to be FDA approved.

IS MED CONTOUR A
REPLACEMENT FOR DIET
With a diet you can reduce non-specific weight but most
people have pockets of fat that are not affected by diet
alone. Med Contour offers a solution to this. It
selectively removes fat deposits and proportions in
specific areas. We have combined sensible diet advice into your
Med Contour package to ensure that you get long lasting
results from your treatment.
HOW MUCH DOES IT
COST
We have special packages available that include all
treatments as well as extensive dietary support and
vitamin support. Packages are arranged with two easy
payments. Call us now or email us for information on our
special introductory offers.

WHAT IS
CELLULITE
Cellulite is a form of lipodystrophy (irregular fat
accumulation). It occurs in the upper layer of the
hypodermis and is caused by the increase in the number
and volume of adipocytes (isolated fat cells, which move
within the walls of the connective tissue) blocking the
circulation of blood and lymph (impermeable, cold
areas).
WHAT CAUSES CELLULITE
Hormonal factors such as estrogen and folliculine also
play a role in cellulite formation. Cellulite is for the
most part found in women during their hormonal changes
such as puberty, pregnancy, and menopause and also
whilst taking birth control pills. A woman's hormones
are usually responsible for the regulation of their
blood flow, fat, connective tissue and lymphatic
drainage.
The fat cells between the two reserve fat layers
situated under the subcutaneous fat layer dissolve into
a slack network. A person's genetic makeup predicts
their fat storage and metabolism in these layers which
are predisposed by diet, exercise and lifestyle. These
layers have no responsibility for cellulite forming on a
person's body.
Several lifestyle factors can also cause cellulite,
among them is drinking alcohol, lack of exercise,
smoking, food additives, chemical preservatives, excess
sugars and fats, and so on. Ageing is also an important
factor as the tone & thickness of the connective tissue
reduces with age making cellulite appear much more
quickly in an older person.
The visible appearance of cellulite, the orange skin is
the result of fat accumulation, which pushes the skin
upwards. Cellulite is caused by fatty deposits in the
connective tissue, forming the so-called "orange peel".
With this, especially for women, fat storage is in fat
cells in the lower skin tissue. The fat cells grow and
deform the cell walls. Thus, the connective tissue loses
its elasticity.
